Embossing & Debossing

Add impact to your business card or project with custom Embossing. This process will create a raised or three-dimensional logo or name on your project. When embossing, paper is pressed from the back into a heated metal die with the image engraved into it, creating a raised image on the front. In the Debossing process, a raised area on the die is pressed into the front of the paper, creating a lowered impression. We provide two options for Embossing—Blind Embossing & Printed Embossing.

Blind Embossing vs. Print Embossing

Blind Embossing: embossing only over the paper. An embossed image that is not stamped over a printed image, not foil stamped, and the resulting raised image is the same color as the paper is blind embossing.

Print Embossing: embossing applied to an ink printed or foil printed image. This is a two-step process where the paper is printed first and then embossing applied over the ink.
